How it works

A static floor is set once and never moves: it sits your max-drawdown amount below your STARTING balance. Cross it and you're out, no matter how much profit you banked earlier. The upside — once you're in profit, that cushion is entirely yours; the floor never chases you up.

The classic mistake

Treating a good week as extra rope. The floor doesn't rise with your wins, so a fixed dollar amount below your start is all you ever get. Size to that number, not to your peak.
