This Cookie Policy explains how Fourdesk ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. As we operate from the Canary Islands, Spain, we apply the EU ePrivacy rules and Spanish LSSI-CE: non-essential cookies are only set after you give consent.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies and similar technologies (local storage, etc.) are small pieces of data stored in your browser. Some are required for the Service to work; others help us understand how the product is used.
2. Essential cookies (always on)
These are strictly necessary to provide the Service and cannot be switched off. They do not require consent.
- Authentication & session (Supabase) — keep you signed in and secure your session.
- Preferences — remember your theme (light/dark) and your cookie choice.
- Checkout (Stripe) — set during payment to process your subscription securely.
3. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we use PostHog to understand product usage (pages viewed, features used) so we can improve Fourdesk. PostHog is configured with EU data hosting. These cookies are off by default and are only enabled after you click "Accept analytics". If you reject, no analytics cookies are set and no usage events are collected.
4. Managing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — withdrawing is as easy as giving it.
You can also clear cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
5. Third parties
The providers that may set cookies are listed as sub-processors in our Privacy Policy (Supabase, Stripe, PostHog). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
